Carrie serves as a Care Coordinator for Catholic Charities of West Michigan and Bethany Christian Services. Carrie hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with a certification in Family and Children Services. Carrie transitioned to WMPC from her role as a Foster Care Case Manager, Team Lead with D.A. Blodgett-St. John’s. Carrie served as an Enhanced Foster Care intern with Wellspring Lutheran Services.
Prior to working in foster care, Carrie was a certified medical assistant for a private practice in Grand Rapids. Beyond work experience, Carrie has been a licensed foster parent for 12 years, additionally adopting two medically fragile boys. Carrie is a strong advocate for reunification when safe and appropriate.
WMPC is the first performance-based foster care service delivery model in Michigan with the goal of improving outcomes for children.
